“I have always loved sewing and creating things. I was born in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state and grew up in a family of eight children. I learned to sew at my grandma’s knee and she taught me to use her treadle sewing machine. She always saved quilt patterns out of the Sunday paper to make us quilts. Our family moved to Bedford, Indiana, a small midwestern town, in 1988 for my husband’s job at GM. I enjoy volunteer work at church, playing with my three grandsons, gourd painting and taking trips on our Harley.”

Pam has written Sweet Inspirations for The Kansas City Star.
